Just called my local shop............
okay I talked to them about my 1995 nissan sentra door, I wanted to do a swap but first from auto to manual, no problem but then I want to do a swap from stock to SR20DET U12, and they said they if I want and if I want to do a fmic (which u can read my other post yes i do ) and then they said they would have to modify my harness, cause the wiring is different, and then I would have to get 2.0 tranny mounts and etc parts, because I am going to all 2.0 stuff, sounds about right, but once its a 5 speed, they said for the swap, it will cost 950.00 bucks just to put my sr20 engine, tranny, and wiring, but he said if I do it with the auto to manual change it will be about another 6 hundred extra which I might do so 1,550 is what am looking at, thats just labor no parts
auto to manual, plus sr20 engine and wiring, he said its better to do it all at once instead of doing 2 separate projects, very true, but if anything i s wrong or doesnt sound familiar let me know

which shop quoted you that much for the swap? get all your stuff and drive 2 hours south i can help. i just did the u12 and manual swap on my se-r.

that sounds way high.. the shop i'm going to is only charging about 900 for the ka24 to sr20det swap and the auto to manual conversion. the guy is a friend of mine but still, its not that hard.

Yeah I might call one six right now, and I will let u know in a sec, what they say, but wait one more thing, who has good fmic kits, jgycustoms , if so how much do they charge for it
IIRC jgy uses the Hotshot kit
IIRC = If I remember correctly, and yes, JGY uses hotshot. Just get a FMIC from ebay and fab up your own piping.
