What does the JWT ECU raise the redline to on a '93 classic? 7800?

Yes, 7800 is the magic number

haha, then you might be able to ask my next question. Stillen offers the ECU reprogramming, but doesn't do it themselves. Who does it for them, JWT?

All Stillen does is send the ECU's to Jim wolf and clark stepler reprograms them. I'd just go directly through Jim Wolf to avoid the middleman unless Stillen is giving you a better price.

Thanks. I know Stillen charges $695.00. Does anyone know how much JWT charges?

hahaha, so you would agree, that Stillen and JWT's prices are about equal?

Actually that is what i tell my students. I am as controversial in the classroom as I am on this board. Did I tell you that I have been banned 5 times in SVA in Club SI. I hold the record
But I have over 4 other screen names at Club SI, so they will never get rid on me. I just love getting under their skin, especially a moderator by the name of Auxilary
He is so easy to make angry

JWT charged me 595. But I provided my own core. Even if Stillen uses JWT (which they do), I would still deal directly with JWT.

The only Stillen product I have on my car are the camber plates. But these are also made by Cusco. Is there a product that Stillen sells that is designed by them? That is a question for the ages

Please don't make fun of me for asking this, because I basically know nothing about this ECU stuff right now. But, when Stillen says a core exchange is required, does that simply mean you have to send them your existing ECU and they have JWT reprogram it and send it back? If there is no core exchange, do they just send you a brand new programmed ECU? Thanks for answering my lame questions.

You simply swap your ECU for a programmed one and DO NOT get a core charge. If you decide to keep your stock ECU AND get the JWT ECU, then there is a core charge.

If you have a second car, simply send in your stock ECU and JWT will send you a re-programmed one.
