RPW and I went to E-Town last night, and I found out one thing: I SUCK at lauching! All three runs last night I had massive wheelspin and didn't go anywhere, resulting in blazingly fast 2.3 - 2.6 60' foot times!
I suspect the brand of tires resulting in my poor traction. I am running 205/50 Pirelli P700z's on my stock rims, I dropped the fronts to 22psi and raised the rears to 55psi. I set the front AGX's to 1 and the rears at 8. I also removed the spare tire and jack.
Heres my first and best run of the night:
R/T .529
60' 2.382
330 6.424
1/8 9.828
MPH 72.22
1000 12.764
1/4 15.262
MPH 90.00
So I ran a 15.2 @ 90 with almost a 2.4 60' foot. That pretty much shows what the CAR is capable of
, but of what the DRIVER is not
Well at least I beat a IROC Camaro that run which ran a 15.9 BTW
My second run and third run, I had a 2.52 60' foot (NASTY!) and ran a 15.473 @ 89.77, then my third and worse run I had a 2.669 60' foot and ran a wonderful 15.661 @ 90.03. At least I beat the S-10 extreme I was up against, though.
I did run a 15.15 @ 90.12 back a couple months at the SE-R Northeast dyno-day at Englishtown though. I have since added a cat-back exhaust and I couldn't beat my previous time.
Damn the luck.....
Oh and I might as well mention it now before he starts bragging, RPW ran a 15.0 @ 89 or something with his car.
