I currently have Eibach Pro-kits on my 98 SE, which dropped it 1.4" front and rear. When I added my 17" ADR's It seems like I never even lowered it. I am pissed. I want to lower it more aggressivly like you see these civics are. Not that I am trying to be like a civic, but it seems liek hardly any 200sx/sentra's I see don't have that look that just steals your breath. they might be fast but they don't exactly have that look that the civics seem to acheive so easily. Anyway, if anyone has Eibach sportlines..or sprint springs that give the more aggresive drop..did you need any other mods to your suspension like camber/caster kits? or special shocks struts? Let me know about your experiences with the aggresive drop of at least 1.9" or more. thanks in advance

Oh yeah, dropping 1.9" or more and you'll almost be riding on the bumpstops (with stock length shock bodies). Trimming the middle doughnut can give you 1/2" at each corner, but you'll still have very little compression travel.

I have the eibach sportlines 1.9" w/ KYB GR-2 struts. Let me tell you if your gonna lower it 2" GET A VERY GOOD SETUP. I bottom out over the smallest of bumps, its hard to drive around corners w/ any kind of bumps cause the gets thrown. So I finally ordered the motivaltional setup(shortened strut bodies and rear shock spacers.) The guy was telling me that depending on the spring he can adjust the rebound to make it even more comfortable than the standard setup. Its really not as expensive as the coil-over kit. I paid close to $600 for the the shortened struts up fronnt and rear shock spacers.

Bwilsor...thanks for your help. I always thought the Motivationals were alot more expensive than say the GC coilover setup. So the motivationla shortened strut bodies will replace my stocks..but I can still keep my pro-kits on and it will drop it lower? about how much lower? and SE-R 200SX...is that your car? what kind of suspension set-up do you have on it? That is a sweet drop but I am not sure if I want to go with a body kit by Street Weapon (drift series kit) or slam it with no body kit. I really don't want to do both and set myself up for a cracked $350 aftermarket front bumper hahaa. All your opinions are greatly appreciated. I want to show civic owners that there cars are not the only ones that can look sound and go fast.

You can if you buy that set up. There are two set ups. One uses a stock type springs (pro-kits) the other uses uses a coil over type spring. And no it will not be any lower.

Yes, they have shortened struts for standard lowering springs.

No, it will give you more suspension travel (less bottoming out=comfort and control)

My car is dropped 4.5" in front, and 4" in the rear. I personally don't like the GC/AGX combo. Way to stiff.

Well with the GC set up it is easy to fix that. You can just get lower spring rate springs. I think they ar like $50 each. Do you have any pics of your car?

I've actually seen it. It's quite low! I don't know about 4 inches though... but it seems about right since Ryan has 6" ERS springs all around, not to mention he has no bumpstops. Ryan... Time for the Motivational struts, don't ya think?
