Hi,

How can I squeeze the most possible horsepower out of my car and keep in as a daily driver?

How far can I advance the timing on 91 octane? (15 degrees?)
Would a port and polish be beneficial for a sr20de?
would boring the engine significantly increase my horsepower?

So far, I have magnaflow 2.25 exhaust system
k&n filter where my airbox was...

I constantly run against turboed eclipses and the same chrysler conquest TSI and am sick of being beat.

blueprinted motor, low compression pistons, forged rods, bored out to 90mm, sleeved block, 5 angle valve job, no exhaust, huge turbo, cams, short runner intake manifold, and some NOS to spool up the turbo so you still have drivablility.

To answer your questions:
1. Theoretically up to 17 degrees

Best cheap power?

Wait until the Gen 6 Hotshot header comes out, make a 3" exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers, JWT S5 cams and timing gears, Unorthadox UD pulleys, JWT ECU, Hotshot CAI, Nismo FPR. Tune cams, timing and fuel pressure on a dyno. With an O2 injection intake manfold it might push 180's.

Should make high 160's low 170's, should eat a stock GSR or Type R or GST.

Or buy a Turbonetics Stage 2 turbo system and kill everybody.

DAMN right^^. If you wanna stay all motor get a VE. You can spend countless dollars building an all motor DE thats somewhat streetable, and it will still be beaten be a VE that entirely streetable. My car has S4 cams, which were the biggest street cams from JWT before the new s5s coming out, and I have trouble in stop and go traffic, and it lags on the botton end and a little mid. A JWT ecu and cam gears will help, but still wont be as good as a stock VE.

LEARN AND TUNE IT YOURSELF.

154HP here.

Pacesetter header
HOME MADE INTAKE
HOME MADE EXHAUST
2 pulley set.

NOONE can match me with those mods.

15-17 is spec stock for 89 octane, you can do up to 19 degrees from my expierience on 91 before it starts detonating.
