I was wondering for those who have either mechanical oil pressure or fuel pressure; has the line ever broke and fuel or oil got in your car? Or should I not worry about getting fuel or oil into my frlom the gauge? Thanx in advance.

I've used both nylon and copper lines for my mechanical oil pressure gauge, and have never had a leak.

Just be careful how you route the lines. Of course the best answer is some steel braided line, which I plan on using here in the near future.

Good luck.

NEVER route fuel through the passenger area. There is no good reason to expose passengers to a possible gasoline spill. Use a sender to bring an electrical signal inside.

As to oil, I'd shy away from a plastic tube, use either copper or stainless tubing or maybe braided stainless if you can afford it or want the bling.
