My NX2000 was squealing extremely badly with brake pads that were put on at Merlin's. This weekend I put on a set of NAPA pads in the front and have no squeal since then. They cost $23 for the front pair.

I got the metal masters for my fronts for $36 shipped IIRC from www.philsinc.com . They have great service and I have never had a problem with them.
