So I have to change the alternator. Anyways I've got the old one disconnected, and now I can't get it out! Is there any way to get it out without removing the water pump? And if not what's the easiest/fastest way to take off the water pump? I tried unscrewing one of the metal pipes and after a couple of turns on the bolt a little antifreeze squirted out so I guess i need to take all the coolant out.

Please help.

Thanks.

Btw, please don't move this to SR20 technical. Kinda takes out the point of help being needed asap.

think i might have figured it out... ran a search (whoops) and found out that it helps to remove the motor mount bolt and radiator hose. hope that works. thanks for not flaming.

Search feature is a wonderful thing and is one of the least utilized by many.
