UPDATED POST: My very first time at the track

[email protected]

I also put the car on the scale: 2600lbs with 1/4 gas tank and no driver.

Next time I'll do some weight reduction. Everything was in the car including a 10" 20lb sub+amp+box

Dude racing at the track is harder than i expected....got a **** load of wheel hop. I ran against Natural 81 and of course got smoked....my 1st time racing was 15.9....as i kept trying agiait got crappier....2nd time was a 16.1, 3rd try was a 16.4. After that i just said screw it i give up....maybe next time.....hey Paul wanna mention that 30.0 sec. 1/4 mile run? :)

The first time I went to that track I'd either spin like crazy or get wheel hop depending on the lane I was in, my bad technique didn't help either. I finally got to see some other sentras/sr20 cars racing. :)

hey huk, did u try what i said? did it help
when i launched at 4k rpm i was spinning like crazy - redlining at 15mph and spinning... no good :(

3500rpm was a bit better - but i still need more practice and traction. it seemed to me that the track was covered with ice
