I just replaced my tie rods and tie rod ends. I had an alignment done and the wheels rotated and balanced.

I did however find out that one of my wheels is dented up front and one of the controll arms is bent. Which one could be the reason that they are shimmying? I want to fix the biggest problem first to get rid of the shimmying then the other when I get paid in a few days.

Thanks.

I say control arm first. The wweel is probably causing the shimmy. However, control arms could lead to premature tire wear and stuff. I always like to take care of that kinda stuff first. Just my $.02.

I voted control arms to, just because i like to do all the mechanical stuff first. Wheels will come haas.

Check junkyarddog.com for a used but good control arm. Once you get that for cheep, and it works, get your rims

I guess you already can feel what's coming.

Control Arm

A rim is much easier to remedy, but the suspension HAS to be right in order for the wheels to work right.

Got some controll arms, ordered a ES master kit, and Need to find some local ball joints.

Then rims. Im thinking 15x7 Black Slipstreams with a polished lip...
