Yes you will have to grind your struts. Then you want to wrap the strut body in duct tape until the collar fits very tightly. Then you want to completely coat the tape with RTV silicone. Slather it on generously. Tap the collar on with a non marring hammer or use a piece of wood to protect the collar if you use a regular hammer. Use extra silicone to seal the edges of the collar and you are done.

Thats the directions I used when installing mine. I know had to grind down my AGXs. Duct tape thing was kinda tedious, I finally started pushing it down with my foot, and using my body as weight. Damn, now how the hell am I gonna take them off.......haha ****.
