Are you saying that you're exhaust guides are bigger then your intake guides?
If you have sodium filled exhuast valves you will need 7mm valve seals for the exhaust side. The valve seals for a 240sx will fit on the sodium filled exhaust valve guides.

not neccesarily. Some other JDM and UK heads came with sodium filled exhuast valves. You need 7mm valve seals on the exhaust side. You can get them at advance auto for cheaper then the dealership. Ask for 8 240sx valve seals.

Either it's a det head or a jdm 10.5:1 head. Which ever it is you have sodium filled exhaust valves and you need yourself some KA24de exhaust valve seals to get the job finished.

Edit: What robchaos19 said works too ;)

nope. The sodium filled exhaust valves that came in some of the heads have a 1mm larger valve stem diameter then the non sodium valves would.
I am just saying to get 240sx valve seals because they are also 7mm in diameter and will fit on the exhaust valve guides.

When you call nissan and tell them you need exh. valve stem seals for a sr20de, to most dealerships, JDM=nonexistant. They can only see USA part numbers, and there is no 7mm valve stem seal for any USDM sr20de.

Do you have any pictures of the deck with the head off or is the head on? The regular de/det pistons are dished (8.5:1 and 9.5:1 cr). The 10:1 motors have flat top pistons (or they could be slightly dished I forget) to up the compression.

I was asking because it is possible someone swapped a jdm motor into the car before you bought it and it is possible that it's a jdm 10:1cr motor.
