Ok.I was pondering about buying a sentra ser that was hit.
The body damage I can fix.But the engine wont start.
The engine cranks over but car wont start. The car got
hit on driver side and may have hit battery.Could there have
been some kind of power surge or do you think its something
else?
Car is cheap...If it runs i want to buy it.So if anyone has any
idea's please let me know.
Thanks
Oh and the radiator is in good condition. The hit didnt damage it.
By the way this is a 94 sentra ser automatic.

i'd stay away from an auto personally, but otherwise...you would have to check for fuel pressure and spark--if the wiring got damaged in that corner it could have blown the ecu or anything else. It could be as simple as a fuse or as complex as a wiring harness. You just never know. I'd say if you're not super confident in being able to fix it, leave it and wait for something better.
WELL,

Start with your fuses.
Check the battery.
Check for spark.
I would pull the injectors out to make sure they are squirting. ( REAL SIMPLE JOB )

I would buy it for $200-300. Then do a swap.

The guy said $300.He was advertising for $750 but just needs to get
rid of it for room cuz he rents cars.I might even be able to get him lower.

You talking about sr20det swap or 5 spd?Cuz i already have my sentra that is sr20det.I just wanted this one as extra to drive to work and in case I need when something happens to my sentra.
