I'm in the process of changing my water pump and thermostat. Those freaking bolts on the water pump were a B**** to get to but they're finally off. But now the seal won't break loose so the thing is stuck on. Same thing w/ the thermostat housing. They used that liquid gasket stuff when it was done before and its stuck there pretty tight. Anyone know how I can break the seals on those? TIA

okay did the hammer thing on the thermo housing and that came off but the water pump is still practically glued on there or something. Any other ideas? TIA

Make SURE you have all the bolts out? At least 5 maybe 7 I forget. If they are all out hit it harder maybe? Hit the pulley part not the housing itself.

Yup all 7 bolts are out. Still not budging though. Hopefully I can get it off though. Thanks.
