My previous best was a 12.85 @ 117.47 w/ a 2.15 60ft last Nov, this run I also blew my stock head gasket and was my 2nd run ever at the strip on my turbo and slicks- what a start!
During the winter, I upgraded to a Cometic metal head gasket, Thermo spacers, Agx all around, B14 1.6 clutch cable and a MSD Digital 6.

All runs at 15 psi- 24.5x8x13 MT with a light 2nd gear burnout, T3\T4 at 15 lbs.

First 3 runs, launching at 5600 rpm
60ft- 2.02, 2.09, 2.01
1/8 - 8.26, 8.24, 8.23
mph - 89.70, 90.06, 91.73
1/4 - 12.551, 12.553, 12.527
mph 116.14, 115.28, 115.70

Last run, 5800 rpm
60ft- 1.975
1/8 - 8.124
mph- 90.08
1/4- 12.414
mph 115.82

They were all done within a 1 hour time frame, with drink breaks also. I could've ran more but I was hanging out with my son :) in the stands. Hopefully with more practice launching and playing with boost\tire press. maybe I can dip lower into the 12s or high 11s which is the goal this year :D
Stay Tuned!

Wow, great job Chris!

Just make sure to check all your tranny bolts between trips to the dragstrip. Those things like to vibrate loose when you put the slicks on.

What injectors/MAF are you running? Open exhaust or through the muffler?

Good stuff...

Thanks for the tip on the tranny bolts, GP.

I am running the MSD 50lb 4 bar- Cobra MAF, JWT set up.
The exhaust at the track consists of 3"- Fmax DP, to a JGY sec. DP, to a Dynomax Bullet, then mandrel piping comes out the side in front of the pass. rear wheel.
Car weighs 2300, (2440 w/me in it on a scale). The only items I removed were the carpet and HVAC system, it was a rescued flood car.
Thanks again for the compliments guys, us T3T4 guys are trying to catch up to you T28 guys. lol!

Fig,
My boy will be 10 in about a month. We had walkie-talkies, he WANTED me to go to the other side of the park just so we can use them! It was an extremely fun day racing and hanging out. LOL!

dang good times man. i cant wait to turbo my se-r. it must be nice when people are seeing a 4 cyl run that low. here there are big muscle cars running on slicks that barely run that, that are alot louder than yours too. lol. i just think its funny. especialy when you get into the twelves. man it would be david vs goliath when you go up against on of them and just blow the doors off of it in your se-r. that will be the day. lol. keep up the good work man.

Thanks guys, I have actually gotten lower- 12.19 @ 116. On a different run I trapped at 119.94 mph when I was trying out a higher boost level, but need more practice.
My T3\T4- Compressor- .57 wheel\.60 housing, Turbine- Stage 3\.82 housing. I know this isn't the ideal set up, but it fit right in $-wise. No dyno #s yet.
Cryo-treated gears in the tranny, which had 90k NA miles from a 92 NX.

I have been going to the same track since 97, and most of the track workers know my Sentra and have watched the progression from 15s to 12s. I have a blast most of the time I go out there.

Chris,

Do you have a two-step to build boost at the line?
Yes, I have a MSD Digital 6 with the built-in 2 step. I have not tried playing with the timing retard yet which I have read it can gain a couple of lbs off the line.
