Ok, i decided i was going to change my bosch platinums and put in ngk's instead. Granted, the bosch's were new, but i just checked them recently, and they have the infamous yellow ring devoloping around the base. Not to mention, se-r.net has said they can cause a rough idle and hesitation at low rpms, which i had. Well, i put in my ngk's today and took her out for a ride. To my disbelief, my brand new exaust system that sounded like rice at high rpm's smoothed out completely, with a nice growl at low rpms climbing to a smooth, constant sound all the way to redline. I was amazed that the bosch's were causing my exaust to sound like rice before. Ive never heard of anything like that. My fellow sr20de brother NismoSer and my other friend who has a ga16de were even calling me uncle ben, which i didnt take too kindly too, but I couldnt argue with them because of how tinny and nasty it sounded. I was gonna put a resonator on to help the problem, but all i need was quality ngk plugs in there. The car sounds excellent now and I love it. I dont know why the bosch made it sound like rice up in the rpm range, but i know the NGK solved all my problems. I didnt realize til now that plugs could make a difference in the way your exaust sounds.
