Whats a H2B kit?

It's a kit that adapts any H/F series Honda motor to accept a manual B series gearbox without any custom mounts, linkages, axles, etc, in the non H/F series chassis. Meaning, you can drop that nice Type SH Prelude motor, in it's entirety, into that DA/EG/EC/EF honda of yours. (That's Civic/CRX and Integra ) Oh and not to mention that this WILL shave time off from your 1/4. Average reports are .25 to .75 seconds off of your timeslip (given all other variables remain the same)




It's a bit pricey, but a small price to pay for a solid tranny for those frankenstein/hybrid swaps.

Ranges from $800 to $1300 for the kit, possibly even more depending on your options.

This is good news for the H boys, because now they can officially drag with those close ass gear ratios. (I believe that many are finishing the 1/4mi. in 4th and 5th gear)

Oh. Right. H stuff, yeh, i dont swing that way, so out of that loop. Almotor drag hasnt really taken off over here, there are a couple of pretty solid cars, but most of the street stuff is pretty stock with boltons.
