How do I check for a spark?
The book says put the sparkplug boot near a ground?
What do I use for a ground? A bolt?

Both engines try to turn, the starters work, but the cars wont start. :mad:
This is for both the GA16DE and the G20.

A search came up with a few tips, but none worked.

This is what I did to check for spark. I took the plug wires out one by one and touched the VC (make sure you touch nothing but the wire! Stay clear of the car). You'll know if there is spark being made or not when you hear like a clicking sound and actually see a shot of electricity soon as you touch the VC or any other metal part of the car.

what you do is stick a screw driver into the end of the wire, put the plastic part of the driver on the v/c and give it like 1/8 inch or so and see if it arcs or not. fun stuff

I'm such an idiot. How will he check for spark using my way if the engine won't start?

well..........

I have spark on both
I have clean battey terminals on both
The batteries are both NEW

I'll check the fuel pump tomorrow. Im tired.

Im still working on my 2 cars though.
Maybe I can convince the wife we need 2 DETs.

UPDATE:

Well, I took out the injector rail and injectors to see if they were "squirting". I turned the key and BAM!!! THE ENGINE STARTED WITHOUT ANY INJECTORS.
There must have been fuel left in there and Im thinking...... MAYBE THEIR ISNT ANY AIR GETTING IN THERE??? The air from the injector holes let air in to start it. MAYBE my TB is stuck or clogged. HMMM.

Im on my lunch break. I'll get back to business after I pic up my kids from school.

I just tuned her up 100% 8 months ago.

Im still working on this issue.
Its rattling my brain bucket.

I'll check that IAC thing as well.

If all else fails..........hello AAA.
