OK guys i have a 2000 Sentra SE with an auto tranny(I know, I know, spare me please), but heres my question how hard would a 50 shot be on my tranny? I was thinking about the Zex nitrous system because it is only activated at WOT. I probably would not use it all the time, just for drag and the occasional beating of a ricer. So do you think it would be very bad on the auto tranny? Any help is appreciated.later.

Well Linoel put a DET in his auto classic. So I would think it would take the beating. You just have to take care of it. Change the fluid, possibly install an external tranny cooler. Lionel says it feels great with the DET, stays on boost. The autos can stand about 200 or so before they start complaining really bad. If you aren't squeezing all the time and take care of it I wouldn't think there would be a problem. Just becareful, and user your best judgement.

I don't think it would be a problem. I put a zex kit on a maxima a while back and it had no problem at all. fast too.

Thanks guys, also I thought I read somewhere about one of those high performance ignitions(MSD?)that automatically retards timing 2 deg. when you're spraying, would this be a good investment since my timing is advanced? I don't want my car to feel sluggish whenever I'm not spraying, so I really don't want to have my timing set back all the time.thanks again,later.

ya, they work really well actually, but it only works for boost, but msd does make a thing that goes inside your car so you can adjust it from there whenever.

MSD adjustable timing control up to 15 degrees from a knob inside the car.# PN8680 sounds like a great idea for nos use hmmm.

no, the mastermind is a Jacobs piece and runs like 300 bux. only for v8s I think. could be wrong though.
