Throw a turbo in it and you've got a great ride! I think the G20 is about 300lbs heavier than the Classic, but I'm not sure. I would personally pick a G20 if I wanted a really nice street ride. As it is I'm (theoretically) building a racecar but I still want a G20

Not too bad looking either...rather have the little red one in the background...

Even has beige leather...I love beige leather! I'll have to get a silver paint job though...

The handling is awesome on the G20, even the P10 chassis. My dad can run his G20 up a twisty on ramp at 55mph while my SE-R started to lose grip at like 45mph on the same twisty. Just try to get a 5speed and not the slushbox. Thats another thing with the SR20DE engines... they love to be taken to redline... its actually healthy for them.
The slushbox doesn't let you rev too high so try to get the 5speed.

the one pictured...that I am going to test drive hopefully tonight...has a 5sp. I REFUSE to own another car that has an automatic. I just don't feel in control of the car...5 speed + traffic doesn't bother me either.

They are the most luxiousous SR20DE powered car, but also the heaviest so they will be a bit slower than the rest. There are a LOT of people who LOVE their G20s on the mailing list.

But just turbo it and you have no problems

What's the difference between the G20t and the G20?

I found a '95 G20t for $7500...you guys recommend this?

Thanks again,
Chris.

Do it. Slap a turbo on there, pimp it out. I'll be officially jealous. The G20 is a WAAY more stylee ride than any other sr20 car IMO. And you'll want that LSD .. though you probably already know that, doesn't the Prelude have some wacky active-LSD?

base Prelude's, and automatic Prelude's don't have any kind of traction control.
The Type SH ($2500 more than mine) has ATTS, Automatic Torque Transfer System. it helps(electronically) to pull the car through a turn...ONLY if you're on the gas pedal in the turn...when coasting through a turn, it acts just like the base model. it also adds an extra 100lbs to the car.

Yeah well the LSD isn't going to work either if you're not on the power. And who coasts through a turn and expects to go fast anyway?

I'll re-iterate: Buy the G20t, Put in a turbo, Send me pix(or gimme a ride, you live nearby), Watch me drool.

Yeah, I'll give you a test drive when I am done with it...
probably won't be anything in the near future though. Hopefully I'll be able to sell my car soon, so I can get into a G20...too many Preludes for sale though!
