Does anyone live in Ohio or next to Ohio that can help put on my Tein Basic Coilovers? I have the whole setup (coilovers and shocks and all the hardware)and need to do this before I sell my other car. They are asking way too much $ here. I will pay if thats what you need to help me. I can drive to where you are. Also I have no tools just the adjustment wrench they gave me. PM me or post up your info.
Someone has volunteered to help so thanks to everyone.

If you want to drive to Cincinnati sometime soon I can help you. If it's the full setup (dampers, springs, and upper pillowball mounts) then we wouldn't even have to fool with spring compressors, which would save a lot of time.

PM me if interested, or for help.
hey sprospect.. check out OhioNissans.Com.. well hang out once you get your suspension set up goin.. i couldnt help ya.. but like i said.. afterwards.. lets hgn out.. Travis
Rittmeister is the man. Looks like he will be assisted by 2xSE-R and myself. Thanks everyone.
ya know.. actually.. that would be fun to shoot the strut right outta the spring... BOIINNGG.. right into someones foot.. Travis :D
I'm local, but I don't have a place to work right now. I've got the tools if you've got the space.
Blair- I got some help in Cincy and the date is set for 21 so if you want to ride let me know. We leave at 6am. Thanks a lot though I have no place I can think of.
I can do it too, I have a compressor (not that I need it lol ) and tools. It's just cold out now.
Sprinkles and Flurries on Saturday with a high of 37 degrees.
Oh well, the saying still holds true ....... "come rain, or sleet, or hail ......." well, it goes something like that.
I'm not worried. The house is warm and if we need to go in periodically it won't be a problem. This will just be an incentive to work faster :D
if hes got the coil overs with shocks.. why would you need the compressor? unless you said you didnt need it for THIS job...does anyone know when its gonna warm up again? i think that this is the last of old man winter we will see for a while.. Travis
Not all coilover kits come with pillowball upper mounts. The Tein Basic setup that we installed yesterday on sprospect16's car, for instance, has no upper mounts in the kit. Apexi WS, Tein HA, and some of the Tanabe setups fall into this category as well.

This means you have to re-use the upper mounts from your car.

This means you must disassemble the four strut assemblies to get the upper mounts.

This means you need COMPRESSORS.

2-21-04. My friend, Rittmeister, 2xSE-R, and I complete the Tein Basic Damper installation yesterday. We removed the old and busted dropzone and stock struts and replaced them with the new and hotness. Tein Basic Dampers are a must if you are lowering your car. We traveled to Rittmeisters from Canton for 4 hours to Cincinnati. It was well worth it Rittmeister know what he's doing. Here's the before and after pics.

This is how you will remember this car but I am the new owner not TroySER.
