1993 Primera, sr20de, 80k. Oil pressure gauge showing low/fluctuating pressure. After long high speed run the guage can drop to zero and take a long time to return to 60psi, accompanied by brief flash of oil light.

Assuming gauge working, perhaps it's the oil pressure regulator? Can this be accessed without removing oil pump?

Any ideas/similar experiences?
