Parting out: '92 Red B13 in Midcoast Maine

Edited for clarity, and because that other post for

This list is 99% accurate. These prices do not include
shipping. Small pieces will be sent USPS, larger ones
probably FedEx ground, or pickup.

My paypal payment address is [email protected].

be gleaned for pennies at a salvage yard.

How much are you asking for the hood?
Sent PM.

It's a '92 with around 180k? Compression's good, motor
has no knock. Not enthusiast owned, ricer owned, and
junked. Never raced, or anything fun like that.

Have all lights intact, have the hood resanded, primed,
sanded with 600, and basically ready for paint.

Bought as parts car about a year ago, need cash
for other things. Parting out everything except:

Fuel pump and sending unit.

Rear seats.

Sunroof is intact, but would the need rubber gasket resealed.

Other than that, the field is open. Head and motor
have no noises, clutch is gone, rest of it would be
great for someone with a GA project, or if they wanted
a motor to have as a functional high-port spare.

It's begging for someone to push the limits of NOS with!

If it can be unbolted, it's available. Have wheels
with Yoko ES100's about 80% tread, 1 plugged and
maybe leaking, probably easy to fix for less than $5.

There is rust on various parts, and through the unibody.
How much for the headlights shipped to 94509
Not exactly sure on shipping, have to box,
weigh, and check.

PM with reasonable offer on headlights?
Check PM's..
you have the headlights and is it a b13 let me know
PM sent.

PM sent about headlights.

Still waiting to hear back from original CA requestor.

Will give no more than 3 days to hear back.
Working IAC, FICD assembly? I can't cure my idle/timing problem w/o a set that is working... not that the cars runs poorly, by any means.

Air box and tubing to the PAIR? My tube into the airbox has broken off... glued back together w/plastic weld:).

Shipping to 33635... where it's warm all year long;).

Later,
Mark
I have a weird request. I need the plastic piece that the seat belt goes through on the door. The one on top of the door panel. Also the clips that hold it in.

I need the shift boot and the plastic piece its mounted to.

And the drivers side mirror.

Shoot me back some prices.
Peter--

The hood is very interesting, as far as the '92 SE-R for the GRM Challenge is concerned. PM me with details and the price you'd like. Shipping concerns me a lot.

Also...does the sunroof have the plastic outer trim piece that goes around the glass, up top? If so, interested in that, too.

Thanks.
PM's sent, check your PM's.

;)
Sunroof/Hood.

Shipping's a real hard thing on hoods. Even for
superlight ones. I'm still not going to have that
worked out until I have a prototype together.

The sunroof outer trim piece up on top actually
isn't plastic, it's fiberglass. And that's why I
swapped over the sunroof, so that's not intact.

All the interior stuff is intact, if someone had
smashed sunroof glass, this one is factory tinted,
and in perfect shape, but the rubber and plastic
trim should be removed/replaced from old one.

Fiberglass *sucks*, also, The rear 2/5th's of the
fiberglass outer trim piece first cracked, then flew
off somewhere, no idea where. The front 3/5th's
is still on it, but the scale needs to be brushed off,
the rubber resealed, and the top trim piece sealed
in with the rubber.

:)

how much for the suspension setup? whats the mileage on it?
PM's sent.
would you be willing to take the entire brake system off? including hubs, rear lines, and ebrake lines? if so, pm me and let me know a price. where in ME are you located? i might be able to save us both some hassle and come get it....lmk. thanks.
I *might* be able to. It's kind of difficult, but I
*probably* can. I *might* need the rear right
ebrake cable myself.

PM me, we can talk about it. I also have already given
up the driver's side rear caliper. The one that's on the
car has a very rusty caliper pin hole - it was 'engineered'
with a threaded rod, and no grease.
Hey, Peter. Sent you 2 emails w/pics via the mailing list... probably still downloading;).

Need pics that give me a better idea of the location :)

If I need to rip a bunch of stuff apart, it's going
to take a little while.

Peter
Hahahahaha... seriously, you will need to "move" some things, but not have to rip anything out.

Stand next to the passenger side front bumper, facing the engine. Look down into the bay at the oil filter, then look left towards the firewall. You'll see the idle screw, which sits on top of the IAC. Look a little further down, and you'll see the FICD, it juts out perpendicular to the IAC, it's the bronze hexagonal cylinder.

The reason you'll have to move stuff is because your hands won't be able to squeeze in there to get the 4 bolts holding everything on. As it is, you'll end up doing the bottom left bolt blind... can't be seen from above. Be careful removing the FICD. It has a spring loaded piston that will shoot out, piston and spring, if it's not removed gently... ask me how I know:(.

I've removed the assembly twice. The first time was the hardest because I had know idea if I was going to be able to get my hand in there.

I'll look for the se-r.net link later, if you still want some info.

Take your time, my car's still driveable... I just want it to be tunable;).

Peace out,
Mark
