I'm putting a new ACT clutch in my car.and the pilot bearing in wrong It does not fit over the pilot shaft end but when I looked into where the old one should be there was none.the end of the shaft is 7 tenths of a inch wide inside of the crank is 8 tenths of and inch the inside diameter is 6 tenths what gives?

Your input shaft doesn't contact the pilot bearing. Since it's a short stubby input shaft (not a long ass peice like on a rear wheel drive) it's stable enough to do without a pilot bearing (or bushing in this case). Don't worry about it. Just put the clutch on and be happy

You may not be able to see the old pilot bearing as there may be too much black dust covering it. I could not see mine at all untill I poked around in there.
