Well it's almost finished. It's been a while. After almost 2 years it's back on the road. (major motor build, etc)

Wow, looks great.

Where are all the little things like radiator over-flow bottle and miscellaneous boxes??
Where did you relocate them to???

I assure you this is my car, and has not had a magazine feature yet.

if you goto my site

http://turbo.pulsar.org.au/ you will see sh*t loads of build pictures, as well as a whole heap of stupid photo's of me, mates, the car, and so on.

The interior is almost 100% standard, with the exception of BRIDE racing seat, short-throw shifter, sparco wheel, sparco pedals, momo shift knob, fire extinguisher, etc.

The fuse boxes and all wiring is hidden.

the radiator overflow tank is under the front side guard.

My car was featured in nissan online performance mag, back in 2000 (or 99) and also i think last year, april i think. But nothing like it is now.

I stripped the bay, over 180 holes were welded up and smoothed before priming and painting... almost everything that is alloy is polished (except the head and block), anything thats not polished is chromed. (except the brake booster)

I only started her up two weeks ago, after a lengthy engine build and bay prep. I've put 500km's on it in a week to run it in. after 1000km's I'll do a propper tune on it. (its running a very basic ecu map at the moment)

I've been frequenting these forums for years now.. I just lay low. I've been very quiet throughout the build of this car... (your excitement goes away when you dont have a running car)...

cant wait to get out, cruise, and race :)

have a big car show this weekend which I'm prepping for.

the pictures you see in this thread were taken sunday just passed by my fuji digital camera, in the middle of my street.

there's still more to do.. including a new oil/air catch can, and a few other changes.

at the moment I just need to get this show out of the way, then I can swap the gearbox out for another one which I'm building (nismo lsd and PAR gearset).

glad you like it....

I've bled and bled for this car... let me tell you, it aint just a show pony either, it's gonna cop a real hiding when it's tuned up :)

Thanks for the comments :)

Yeah tonnes of work, it's crazy... I'm trying something different and doing what a lot of "hot rod" guys do, all class, quality, and extreme detail. hidden wiring, no area's overlooked... well as much as I can. Kinda different for a car like this.

I think it's the cleanest bay ive ever seen for this type of car (fwd sr20).. really not sure.

How does it drive? how about.. it's a right bitch... It's not tuned at the moment, runs a pretty simple map for the running-in period. I've got the throttle set partially open, it idles at over 1500 rpm (shouldnt let new cams idle), it has solid engine mounts and a nasty clutch, it's not easy to drive at all. Very un-comfy... however it feels like an animal and gets a lot of crazy looks when people hear you pull up at traffic lights etc... (sounds rather angry)

I run Autronic SM2, and the Autronic R500 CDI for a four-coil setup. the Coils are MSD Blaster DIS Racing.

www.autronic.com for information. (it's much like motec, infact the developer of autronic was once a motec partner)

It's a great ECU. no MAF... using MAP instead (yay)

features include launch control, boost control, traction control, rotational idle (cool down mode) and loads of other neat stuff. Cant wait to tune it all up.

The motor runs a head full of Tomei, and a block full of USA parts (Arias, Eagle)

Been thinking about doing an interior re-trim, but this car is raced... I dont really want to add any more weight to it, and I like a functional interior, not one that you can only go in with socks on.. :)

who knows haha.

This car is so clean, it down right inspiring. :)
Do you happened to take pictures during the process of building??
I would love to see how it was done.

:D wow, thanks for the feedback!

http://turbo.pulsar.org.au/

my web page has loads of build pics.... go in the "gallery" section.

the news section dates back to pretty much when I bought the car. Has an entry for almost every mod made... otherwise most stuff is in the specs section.
