Hey guys,

I have a 91 and a 93 SER currently and will be doing pretty much a restore on my 93 from the suspension up. I sold some parts from it to purchase the 91 back in February. My question is that I sold the valve cover i had to another forum member and so at this moment the cams have surface rust on them as well as the Flywheel since I took most of the tranny out. Will the rust pose an issue at all and do i just sand them off or use some sort of chemical? Thanks guys.

i used gas and really thin sand paper for my cams when the same thing happend. rust came off real quick. just make sure the sand paper is really thin.

oh also make sure to oil them up right after your done so that it wont create more rust

soak them in tranny fluid and then wipe them off
