Gee... Is it REALLY that hard to adjust the idle even after a MAF reground? Well, you have a low-port motor, so maybe your MAF doesn't need a reground.

Greg: Check SE-R.net regarding MAF regrounds. B14 SE-R's shouldn't need to be reground as the MAF was somewhat changed on the low port motors. Bascially, the ground voltage has been known to get out of spec on the high-port motors causing the MAF getting false readings and some driveability problems could result. The most common symptom is low gas mileage (but that could also be caused by a bad o2 sensor.)

Well sort of correct. Not the ground voltage getting out of wack. The ground on the MAF is not supposed to have voltage as it is a ground. When you do start to get voltage, that's when a re-ground is called for to help eliminate the voltage. I did directly to battery on my old '91 P10, worked wonders.

Ahh, I didnt even think about grounding it there. I was searching all over the engine bay for a spot to do it. I ended up just looking at Mark Schoenholz's car and put it where he did his.
