When I had my HS header installed we needed to bend the oil dipstick about an inch away from the header to keep it from melting. Would this be enough to throw off the calibration of the dipstick and show a low oil condition when in fact there is none?

Mine's bent foward also, due to my Hotshot. I have had no ill effects from it.

I have a stillen gen 2 header. You have no hoice but to do that
