When I had my HS header installed we needed to bend the oil dipstick about an inch away from the header to keep it from melting. Would this be enough to throw off the calibration of the dipstick and show a low oil condition when in fact there is none?
Im wondering if there would be any interest in a custom dipstick. My friend's parents own lokar and I think I can talk them into doing some custom work. They do all kinds of stuff for domestics, no reason half of it wouldnt work for imports. Like custom throtle cables for all the GTi-R boys, dress up items, bout anything. I can always ask
