I posted this in the Sentra SE-R forum and wasnt sure if everyone got a chance to see it so I'm posting it again to see if I can get more exposure! Thanks in advance...

Ok, couple of things here so bare with me:
1. I race alot on an 1/8th mile track, best time is 9.70 with a slipping clutch (SMOKED a Mustang GT with exhaust/header); I FRIED my clutch on that run (got JWT PP and OEM disk now) and I have HS Header, JWT ECU, JWT Gen 3 Cams, NO CAT (stainless 2 1/2" pipe), stock b pipe/exhaust (have greddy now, stainless from the head back, it's nice), Magnecor wires, NGK plugs, JWT POP, JWT mounts, Nitto NT555 Drag Radials, and typical suspension mods.

Since then, HORRIBLE gas mileage, stalling, and reduced performance. I replaced the O2 sensor and thoroughly cleaned the TB so it doesnt stall anymore and runs smoother but mileage is still not great (24-26mpg). THEN I noticed that when I checked cylinder #1, the plug was covered in rust red corrosion (just the white part of the plug) as was the plug wire inside and out. I cleaned it and replaced the plugs (all the others were fine) and it seems to be ok, I'm just still concerned (havent re-checked the mileage, I cant stop lead footing!). I've looked all over SE-R.net but nothing similar to my experience. Is it cross firing? I dunno...

2. I get a clicking noise from the right rear wheel. The strut and spring are brand new as is the wheel and tire. It only happens on robust bumps (like interstate bridge expansion slots or smooth, large dips in the road). It happens randomly on bumps at all speeds.

3. BOTH of my cv axles are new, but my right front wheel doesnt "feel" tight. Could that be the ball joints? My friend said they didnt look good.

4. Anyone in North Alabama with a fast Nissan or an SE-R?

UPDATE: I'm still getting crappy mileage so I'm suspecting crossfiring. I cleaned the wires so we'll see what happens...

Im not in North Al but Im in middle Tennessee right now. Going back east tho in a couple of weeks for summer.

For the wheel not feeling tight, try removing the lugnuts and retighting. Mine did that for a while but I remmoved the nuts and retightened them and it went away.

yeah, the lugs are definitely tight, the whole wheel assembly feels tight; it's just a light click every now and then when I hit a smooth bump
