IS IT BETTER TO HAVE THE ENGINE COLD OR HOT WHEN REPLACING THE OXYGEN SENSOR?

Well... I had to replace the o2 sensor on my NX a few weeks ago. Being the MONKEY that I was, I tried to replace it after I drove to the auto parts store to pick up a new one. I burned my right hand so bad, that I can't watch porn movies with "pleasure" unless I "train" my left hand.
</sarcasm>

Seriously, though, DON'T replace it when it's fully warm unless you have asbestos gloves, or something. Spray some Liquid Wrench on the o2 sensor, wait about 10 minutes for the Liquid Wrench to soak in, and then go at it.

I had no problem when the engine was cold either. Taking the radiator out was the hardest part, and that was easy.
