So I just used this stuff at work on some parts that had some major surface rust. After they soaked the rust was completely gone.

For anyone who hasn't heard of this stuff, try it out.

A sample was given to our metallurgy lab. Apparantly it's still patent pending, so maybe I jumped the gun in thinking it was for sale to the public.

I **** you not though, I've never seen something dissolve rust like this.

Some company named Harris Laboratories or Harris Industries or somethin like that makes it.

There you go flinging my name around, Ali!

:D

Interesting item. Let us know when this will be out for sale. I will need this product for the other build I am planning to do after my 240 is done.

I have been using this for a couple years now, same stuff. I have a parts washer that I filled with it and just let it run over the parts, works great!

Once the rust is gone - do you have to coat the metal in something? Should you spray a light coat of oil on it?
Yeah, the parts should be coated afterwards.
