Tell me why I should buy a Sentra, all about why I should buy one at $1000 below invoice, tell me the good things and bad things, tell me gripes and good news, tell me what options are available, and, if possible, show me some invoice pricing and/or personal pricing.

Thank you.

I just want to see how well you'd be able to sell a Sentra SE to someone that's not interested in it.

Try.

You must be interested, or you would not be here...

Here is room for thought...

The Infiniti G20 has been rated one of the MOST reliable cars ever. And what powers this car? Hmmmm... the SR20DE! The engine is one of the best 4cyl ever developed. It can withstand anything you can do with it. Very strong durable engine. So if you think about it, whe you buy a Sentra SE, you are getting a great deal on a G20... The Ford, is just a Ford. The SR20DE was originally developed to be only for the Infiniti division. At last minute did Nissan agree to use it in a special edition Sentra... Excellent...

The SR20DE is dual overhead cam driven by chains...no timing belts ever to worry about.

My SR20DE has NEVER used a drop of oil in the 10 years it has been alive. Never needed any kind of service or repairs. And still gets 30mpg like when it was new.

The New SE is a great car for the dough. Worth every penny. One can be had with a Sunroof and 5 speed for like only 16 grand! That is base Civic EX price range and slow Focus SE price range and you get that wonderful Infiniti engine! Plus alot of standard features that are unheard of in it's price class.

I am not trying to convince you... you were already clear you are not interested.. Enjoy your Ford... When anyone else buys anything else in it's price range, I wonder if they even shopped around at all...

Focus is a replacement for the Escort... Show me some great dependable 10 year old Escorts....they just don't exist. And show me the Focus in 10 years... I fear the Focus has the same fate. I know of too many Focus owners who are sad over their car purchase decision (been through a many a recall) and just see the quality of the car fading altogether... plus no resale value.

I am not Bashing Ford or the Focus by any means, just stating observatons and facts.

The Sentra SE is one of the best buys out there. Simple as that...

hmmm

the difference between the cars:
Nissan - higher trade on se-r(they'll turn around and sell it out at 4, they can trade it from me at 2, easy)
Nissan - power windows, locks, 180w bose system
Nissan - mom wants to drive it 2 days a week, will pay my insurance all summer(during the lean times at pizza hut)
Nissan - $9 cheaper
Nissan - loaner cars
Nissan - Chris, the service manager, went RACING with me

Focus - hatch
Focus - 2 door
Focus - hookups @ ford CORPORATE
Focus - everyone between ford CORPORATE and myself = LIAR

Focus - 8 weeks away

Ugly unsuportive seats...no room, damn 4 door reason for that, sloppy cable shifter, low red line takes engine out of its element, ugly ass, heavy. I mean if you want a sporty car get the focus, if you want a family hauler get an Altima, if you want fuel economy get an Echo, if you want a warentee get a Kia. I will give them one thing the b15 has more room in the front seat than the b14 sentra does but not too much more. Limited mods at this point if you are concerned with that. An almost 15 year old engine design on its last legs before retirement.

As for fords not being reliable. I will call shanagians on that one. Who says they arent reliable? You say they break down all the time, look at the ratios. They are one of the largest sellers of cars so its expected to have more cars that need work. As for 10 year old escorts....i take it you havent been to the ghetto or even TN lately. I see TONS of 10 year old fords everything from trucks to festivias still going on the road, when my friends Integra Type R was sitting in the dealer for an alternator dieing on a 3 year old car, then 3rd gear syncros going out. I know many ford 2.3 liter 4 banngers with way more than 100,000 miles on them. Who knows what the ztech will end up doing. LOL hell i occasionaly drive a 79 inline 6 with like 172,000 on it and an extra hole in the head with the tstat housing jbwelded on.

hehehehe well everyone here are looking though pink glasses...or whatever that saying is. sr20de=better is a very shitty thing to be saying. IMHO the sr20 in the b14 is barely a sr20. Well it is they just have castrated it to the point of taking extra off... I like the front of the car very good looking, choice of wheels...ah they are ok like different wheels for different cars better tho. Interior isnt that bad ugly seat fabric, they did improve the head and hip room by a tad. But not a car I would buy. I would go used first personaly Contour SVT better buy
.

Only beef I have with that Focus SVT is lack of a LSD. Need a LSD IMHO. I like a hatchback lot better than sedan's. I heard that the tranny in the Focus will be a Getrag unit...if so damn thats gota be cool, now give a svt option of a LSD which wouldnt suprise me. SVT hasnt let me down too much for what they have done.
