I am trying to put slicks on my classic SE-R. This is so I can move from the Improved Touring to Production in SCCA. The problem is that the "small" 15 inch Goodyears are 10.4" wide at their widest. We can flare the fenders. But, the selection of small offset wheels (to get the tire away from the strut) are rare.
We found Kosei K1's in a 27mm offset. But, the centerbore is 54mm. I'm having them machined to 59.1mm. But, I need to know the the "depth" of the centerbore (or the "height" of the hub).
I know that the hole needs to be 59.1mm in diameter. But, how deep does it go before the lip. I don't have any stock classic wheels any more. And, the car is completely stripped right now (getting a new cage).
Can someone measure their classic wheels to see how deep the centerbore lip needs to be. Or, just measure how far the hub sticks out past the brake rotor.
Thanks!
