I am trying to put slicks on my classic SE-R. This is so I can move from the Improved Touring to Production in SCCA. The problem is that the "small" 15 inch Goodyears are 10.4" wide at their widest. We can flare the fenders. But, the selection of small offset wheels (to get the tire away from the strut) are rare.

We found Kosei K1's in a 27mm offset. But, the centerbore is 54mm. I'm having them machined to 59.1mm. But, I need to know the the "depth" of the centerbore (or the "height" of the hub).

I know that the hole needs to be 59.1mm in diameter. But, how deep does it go before the lip. I don't have any stock classic wheels any more. And, the car is completely stripped right now (getting a new cage).

Can someone measure their classic wheels to see how deep the centerbore lip needs to be. Or, just measure how far the hub sticks out past the brake rotor.

Thanks!

Hey Grover would the stock nx wheels be the same? I think they are. I have a set that will be back here on sunday. There the ones I have the drag radials mounted on. Chris has them in S. TX but will be back tommorow. I'll measure them for ya.

The are Panasport Ultralights. SCCA does not allow changes in wheel diameter for ITS. So, I *have* to run 14's. These are basically the *only* 14x7 wheels you can buy.

The are $699 a set. http://www.daveturner.com/panasport.html

I think they weight 11.2lbs each. There is a noticeable difference between them and stock. I always joke about hitting your nose when picking them up.

But, I would much rather run 15x7 Rota or Kosei wheels for a lot less money.

When we move to EP, we are running Kosei K1's due to price and available offsets. The Panasports will become rains.

I found someone over the weekend who measured.

They came up with 10mm for the amount that the center hub sticks out from the brake rotor. And, 15mm for the depth of the 59.1mm hole in the wheels.

Thanks James!
