Every time I shift, as the clutch engages, I feel a clunking noise coming from the trans. I feel it more than I can hear it. Recently I had both cv joints replaced, and had my 5th gear fixed. What are the chances that one of these is contribuing to this? Anybody...Beuler...Beuler...

heres what you do:
jack up the rear, turn it on and put a brick on the accelerator while its in reverse, and then kick the CAR so that it falls and then crashes thru a glass wall and ends up in the woods 25 feet below.

LOL, your ****in sick man!! Honestly tho, thats kinda what I feel like doing. I've put so much money into the car this past year, almost doesnt seem worth investing much more into it.

One test. Put it in neutral, if you can have someone in the car its safer, rev the engine. See if there is any abnormal movement. If so check your mounts. I bet either one is bad, or since you just had 5th gear replaced, I would almost suspect someone didnt put all the bolts back in or something. First thing to check is always the mounts when you hear clunking.
