Need some advice from the sr gurus here. I'm getting conflicting info on what to do with my block after I found a bad main bearing. Theres no visible crank damage and my new bearing seats fine nor does it bind. My question is should I machine, and is it even fixable?

If this is a regular us sr20 block you might be better off finding a junk yard pull scince you are installing new bearings why not do it on a known running block? for peace of mind + machining might be just as much in the long run. I've found quite a few sr20's around my local salvage yards for around 300 bucks, and the last one I picked up was out of a 99 sentra had 89K miles on it and was absolutely spotless in side!Good luck!
