Could someone tell me how could i tell the difference between SR16 and SR20VE camshafts? Is there a serial number stamped somewhere on them? Should i think about measuring the lobes? If so what numbers should i get? Forgive me for not retrieving a relative thread:squint: :)

Thanks in advance.

meausre the lobe lift of both cams, the higher lift ones are sr16ve, only slight increase in lift, but noticeable.
Uhmm...Unfortunately i am not aware of each cam's lobe height(s)...So could you give me...a base number? I suppose that it would be easy to tell if it's an SR16 or SR20 cam just by measuring the high lobe(s)...right?
Thanks for your help:biggthump

I'm afraid so. I 've never measured VVL cams before. I just wanna make sure i have my SR16 cams on...since my motor is the SR16VE:)

Sorry for doubleposting...I'm just not familiar with this:squint:
