sr20de into rps12 84' 200sx

I have a clean as hell 230+k miles! 84' 200sx hatch with a p.o.s. ca20e in it. I am planning on ordering the s13 silvia Q's sr20de rwd engine from japan direct on monday.

So,... i emailed ronald chong for the wiring diagrams on se-r.net(where miker says on his site that he got them from). and i am looking for details on the easiest way to do the mounts. and what exactly do i need to cut and how much to cut to clear the shifter. i have heard using spacers for the mounts and i have heard lengthining the slots?? or something. help me out people!! i have pmed a couple of ppl that have had this thread in the past. how are the s12 with sr20de? i bet they pull just as hard as se-r's if not alittle more. i can't wait!!!

all of you who could post step by step on how you did you're swap this would be the greatest thing ever! this thread could be the first one to ever have real step by step details and such. i have only seen step by step pics. i hope to have this done in a matter of days........am i too optamistic?

oh yeah couple other things

what, if any, gauges did you use on your s12 conversion. I was thinking of getting the gauges from a se-r. think they'll fit in the dash?? anyone ad a skid plate? i hear that the oilpan sits pretty low and there is no protection, don't want to dent the pan! also, where can i get catback or full exhast sys. for the s12? what have some s12 owners done for exhausts?

good luck finding any information on that here. Not sure where to send you though for help on that. We work with the 91 and up fwd nissans for the most part and the s13-s15 setups here and there. Good luck with that project though.

Of course I have seen all these sites, but thanks for tryin. this thread is for people who might have done this swap before!
hey stirpicult, where did you find this.....

I used the stock mounts but had to put spacers (my
mechanic is good with this). Wiring was easy AFTER i
got the diagram from SE-R.net. i am using the SR20
computer of course...the old one had different (and
large!) pinouts...I used the SR20 tranny too...the
CA18ET tranny might have fit but why would i bother?
needed to cut some plastic since the shifter was aback
a little, and resize the propeller.

....on miker's site?? I looked the whole thing over and did not see this, was this out of an email?

where did you get that? did i post it before? yes, most likely out of an email. ill try to find it again, if i have it.
