Hi, was wondering if you SR20 experts could help me out. I have a 180sx with a straight cam in it. Whilst driving the other day it just died on me, got it towed home and tested compression, all good on all 4 cylinders and spark on all 4 cylinders too so I suspect a fuel related issue. The battery is on its last legs, but I don't suspect this could be the problem as it turned it over fine after I broke down.
I can hear the fuel pump prime on ignition on so I doubt its that, could it be the FPR? Or I was wondering if the fuel filter may have collapsed? Just looking for a point in the right direction! Next on my list is to test fuel pressure. If anyone has had a similar issue I'd love to know your fix!
