i have a 89 240sx. i just intstalled a sr20det. the stock tach doesnt work so i bought a lunar tach. where do i splice in the green wire? i tried to splice into the yellow/red wire running up to the dash from computer. that didnt work. what wire do you cut from the tach. both or only one? i am a little confused right now. thanks

i think on the direct ingniton setup on the det, you need to get an msd tach adapter to make it work. someone correct me if i'm wrong.

i will try that. do you know what wires to cut? i dont know if its 1 or 2 pulse.

should only have to cut one wire on the back if its a autometer. dont member wich one but its only one.

Question: why didn't you get an SR20 or twin-cam KA24 tach? They both go right in the instrument cluster in place of the old tach. Not a flame, just curious.

i install a sr20 engine in a BT50 single cab, can the BT50 RPM gauge work with sr20 engine
