My sister got her '91 SE-R aligned today, and now it makes
a popping sound when you turn the wheel while the car is
moving. if the car is sitting still and you turn it from lock to
lock, it doesn't make any noise. I checked both axles for a
torn CV boot, and they both look fine. The power steering
fluid is full. The car doesn't have new shocks on it, the alignment
was because I put a new driver's side axle on it, and I removed
the strut to knuckle bolts. Any ideas?

My sister called and said it only happens at slower speeds, as in not the interstate. I'll check it out when I get home. I know I torqued all the lug nuts down Friday night(in the snow).

did you get the cv joint in there tight enough? sometimes they will not seat correctly until you put all of your weight on em' (and I know you are a skinny guy too) it could be a ball joint too. you could have ripped it getting the axle in/out.
