mine runs just fine with a walbro 255lph and stock fpr. no change in driveability or mpg. it may be overkill for n/a applications but i had plans at the time.
Stock Fuel Pump Questions
Does anyone know what the stock fuel pump is rated at?
I used a old formula to figure out fuel pump size based on horsepower and made a guestimate of the fuel pump to be in the area of 100lph. I searched on here for a while and couldnt find any specs. I figured the stock pump was good untill about 270 hp.
The reason i ask is because I think the pump in my car is not all that great, but I dont want to shell out 200 dollars for a stocker. I like the price for a Walbro, but 255lph is way overkill for my All-Motor set-up. I figure I can just get the 190lph, but worried that even the 190 will bump my fuel pressure with the added flow. I have no intention of getting a nismo (or any other brand for that matter) regulator.
If anyone has any idea on the stock fuel pump rating, please chime in, or if anyone has a 190lph Walbro in an All Motor Sr20, please let me know if you have the stock regulator and if your fuel pressure rose after the install.

Wow, that was old, no because I went turbo and just used a walbro 255. I actually dont even know remember how i came up with 100lph for the stock fuel pump.

Good work either way. 100 lph is what Walbro quotes for stock and they DO make an OE replacement.
