I have a 1992 nissan nx2000 that I’m working on rebuilding but everytime I think I’m done I have a new issue. all the other problems i’ve been able to figure out but this noise has me at a loss. i just want to get this thing fixed.

I found something online saying it could be caused by not priming the lifters and that revving the engine could build enough pressure to prime them and that seemed to work for me.

Wish that would be the same for me I can drive it for 2-3hr trips and will still make the noise when I pull over or stop unless that’s different to actually revving the **** out of it 🤣
