I want to buy struts and springs. Guys, help me out here. I wanna lower it bout 1"-1¼". Stillen has a Tokico spring/strut deal for like $515. Or I was going to buy Tokicos with Eibachs. Anyone have the Tokico setup, is it a good deal? Help a brother out. Thanks guys.

Most people seem to like the KYB AGX's much better than the Tokico setup. I think they are a better quality strut. Last time I checked at J.C. Whitney they were $363 for the set, and J.C. Whitney also has a 15% off coupon somewhere on the net, so it would be about $310 plus shipping. You could get the Eibachs through them too, or you could be really thrifty and find a coupon for Carparts.com and get them at a reduced rate from them. This is what I plan on doing come spring.

Yeah JC Whitney sells the AGXs for 95+. I went onto KYB's site and found they do make the AGXs for the Classics and maybe the NXs. But there is no price listed. On the the Whitney page, they're $99 a pop, damn. Just need to find a place that sells Classic AGXs.

Wow, that is real cheap for AGXs.

And yeah, everything I've heard says go with KYB AGX over Tokicos.

Does J.C. Whitney sell AGXs for Classics and NXs? Seems to me they just sell them for 95+.

Let me know when you do because if I can find a sight that sells for AGXs for under 400 bucks for my NX I will be one happy camper.

I was quoted $469 from shox.com

Got mine last year from RD Enterprises. ~$460. This is still a good deal on what basically is the super-expensive GAB adjustable.

Most people agree they are not the same...although it is a similar design. I think everyone agrees they are better than tokicos (the ones available for our cars anyway) and not much more expensive either.

But let's put this into consideration. I don't wanna spend a lot of money on doing this. I don't plan on autoXing right now anyways. Would the Tokicos be the way to go? That's what they did first in the Sport Compact Car SE-R. But then they replaced them with something VERY expansive.

The price comparison is $515 for Tokico/Eibach and about $670 for KYB AGX/Eibach. If you can save the extra money I think it would be a good idea, judging from others' reactions. Thus the whole reason I am getting AGXs and not Tokicos. People just don't seem happy with the ride quality and durability offered by the Tokicos. Plus the AGXs are adjustable and a better match for the Eibach Prokit.

The $389 price is still good - just ordered mine today. I asked twice to make sure they had the 91-94 SER AGXs as the web site said 95 and up. They have em and ship free, 8-9 day delivery claimed. Do you have a good source (under $225) for Eibach Pro springs?

Go Air Force.
