Struts.....

515 Views 4 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  brian
I just bought new tires for my car and after I had them balanced and put on, the car started pulling to the right. What's weird is that with the old tires, the car pulled to the Left.
So I had a 4 wheel alignment done, but the guy said he couldn't align the car correctly because my struts are bad. Does this make sense?
My car bounces a little bit on the highway, but not enough where I think it would affect my alignment.
Anybody know what the problem could be?

how many miles have the struts been on the car?
what type of struts are they?
i bet they're worn out..when i pulled my factory struts off of my car, they would not rebound. they had 72k, on them, though.

well, if the strut was bad, it would bounce around so much the alignment would be worthless anyways. get good struts and go get it done.
