not necessarily...nitrous powered cars would benefit as would all motor b/c more air can be sucked in as fast pushed out...of course youd be lacking on the bottom end power...

Are you reffering to your stock muffler?IIRC, when the guy tested the courtesy setup he ran it once without the muffler just to see what it would do, and he actually lost 1 hp in comparisson to the run with the muffler on.

If you're talking about a stock muffler, YES. I haven't done it. Would the b-pipe hit the axle or is it supported well enough?
