importparts.com thru groupbuycenter.com is selling me the clutch kit at the top of this page http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.asp?row_id=1363 for $299.99 with $20 UPS ground shipping. No clutch alignment tool, no throwout bearing, just the pressure plate and disc. I asked them how much I was saving through this group buy and they said $100 to $150 since they were top of the line clutches. Does this sound right? Or am I getting ripped off?

If I am, I would need someone else to order an ACT clutch through. Any suggestions if it comes to this?

Also they said I could get a cheap clutch alignment tool from Pep Boys or something. Is that true?

The kicker was that they couldn't get it to me by the weekend. I ordered a JWT clutch kit. I didn't know they made a disc as well, they apparently do. $225 for the PP, $78 for the disc, and it's in stock.

I think you made the right choice. I like my JWT set up but I have the stock disk.

The only thing I'm afraid of is the supposed "long throw" of the clutch pedal with the JWT clutch. Ben Moses told me that was the only downside. But I don't think I'll be dissappointed in a clutch kit made SPECIFICALLY for our cars
