I was told (also in owner's manual) that the timing chain on the 2000 SE never needs to be replaced? Does this sound like B.S. to anybody?. Also, although I love my Sentra, the doors (driver's and passenger's) make more noise than I think they should. I think it probably has something to do with the automatic window mechanism, or something like that. Anybody have any thoughts?

Yup shouldnt ever need to be replaced. Sometimes it does strech over time, which would be like 10+ years probaly. But if you keep tabs on the oil and make sure the tensioner is in good shape should last the life of the car.
