I'm looking for some new tires but I'm not sure what I should get, all I know I want some performance tires that I can do some cornering with but wont cost me a huge amount, I have bin looking at Yoko Avid 205/40/17, has any one had these ? or suggest a good tire ?

go with NITTO 555's for good handling and long lasting or if you want somthing sticky go with yokohoma AVS intermediate they hook up really good but last only about 20k look up WWW.tires.com get great prices and shipped to your house.I work for AMERICAS TIRE CO.and have tryed alot of different tires currently I still run on the 555'S
205-45-16 because its a softer ride..

yeah i would like to go with nittos but they dont sell them in canada, and any tires that i ask about what they have. they told me some really high price for them like the yoko a520 i was told $300 a pice or p7000 were $209, so i think it looks like im going so be stuck with some **** tires
, unless i can get my ass down to the states

Yeah, just mail order from the tire rack or Discount tire direct. They usually have the best prices anyway. I got my Continental Sportcontacts from discount tire direct for $200 for all four. Granted it was the last set and they wanted to get rid of them, but it never hurts to ask about special deals.

well i ended up geting new tires and rims 205/40/17 80w Yoko avid with 5 star milla 1000 rims ( i think thats what they are ? ) for $ 1300 witch is a good deal, (i hope
),i get an alinement monday so after that ill see how they perform if its not pouring rain.
