i been waiting for a chance to use/launch on my slicks. trying to learn how to launch was pretty hard. this is the best i did.

I don't have a camera or scanner. This is what it says though


This was my best run. I launched at 6k and stock boost

On this run I launched at 3k and bogged down off the start. And I even used the 12psi switch

what do you guys think? what can i do to get into the 12s?

It all adds up on the first run posted. You'll probably need more power for 12's, but you should be able to get REALLY close. What size slicks did you use?

Launch at 6,000 rpm and use the 12psi switch. It's the best of both runs you made, and the best shot at hitting 12s.

I hope you have the fuel to support the 12psi, or else you'll leave bits of crankshaft, rods, and pistons all through the timing lights.

What is the setup, how is it tuned?
Its a bluebird engine t25
UR crank pulley
bb ecu and 300z o2
Stock maf
walbro 255
nismo fpr
370s
hotshot fmic
xs dual stage
Act street\strip
Lightened stock flywheel to 12lbs

I'm planning on running on 110 octane and advancing the timing. Besides this there hasn't been much tuning.

I ran a similar setup, but with no jwt ecu on my 370's and a tmic setup. I ran at 10psi and best I could do was a 13.3 on old ass auto-x tires. I also trapped 106mph. I would check for boost leaks, as with slicks I would think a high 12 would be easy.

your mph seems pretty low, especially for 12psi. with 7psi and with tmic i was doing 13.8 w 2.4 60ft times @ 105mph on bald street tires. so with slicks thats 12.9-13.0 terrictory at 7psi, i would think 12 should be easy to get with 12psi......

Yea I was thinking of getting a jwt ecu at 4 bar. But don't know if its worth the money
